Some iPhone X owners report that they now have burn-in issues with their phones. In reality, these issues are not new when it comes to the iPhone X, as they popped up last year. Luckily, Apple is aware of the problem and offers some tips on how to fix it.
Restart Your iPhone X
Rebooting your iPhone helps to fix some major problems like frozen keyboard, app crashing, or touch-screen not working. In this case, it may do trick. Lower Your Screen Brightness
Once your device finishes booting up, then lower your screen brightness. To do this, open Settings, then select General and tap Accessibility. After that, select Display Accommodations and hit Auto-Brightness.
Set Your Screen to Auto-Lock
If the problem still persists, then try setting your X’s screen to Auto-Lock. To do this, open Settings, then select Display & Brightness, and select Auto-Lock. Doing so will set your iPhone to automatically lock after a certain period of time.
Face ID Problems
Face ID is Apple’s new security measure that lets you unlock your device with a glance. The iPhone X features the first-generation Face ID which is a little bit buggy. In reality, a lot of users report that Face ID is not stable on their handsets or stops working.
To fix these problems, try resetting Face ID by going to Settings > Face ID & Passcode. From here, enter your passcode and reset Face ID. Once you are done, set up Face ID again to see if the problem is dealt with.
If the problem is still present, then make sure that your notch is now clean. Indeed, your notch is prone to dirt and dust, which causes Face ID to stop working. You can use a microfiber cloth to clean it up.
If you find the notch annoying, then you can get rid of it. To do this, you can use some apps like Notch Remover, a cool app that lets you remove your iPhone X’s notch.
The iPhone X comes with the standard wireless charging, allowing you to get up to 70% charged on a single charge. However, a lot of users report that their device fails to charge properly.
