Steps to start a video chat using FaceTime with the Touch Bar
Before calling someone using the Touch Bar with FaceTime, you first need to set up whom you would like to talk to. After selecting a contact, you can just use your fingers to perform all the tasks.
Step 1: First off, you will need to open the FaceTime app on your MacBook Pro.
Step 2: Next, you are supposed to choose a contact’s name.
Step 3: Now, tap the info icon beside a contact’s name to view his or her full contact card.
Step 4: Lastly, tap the person’s name on the Touch Bar to start the call.
Right in the FaceTime app, you can also start a text message, email, or audio call using the Touch Bar.

If you want to see how long you have been chatting, check the running time below the contact’s name.
If you want to adjust the volume, tap the Control Strip to head to audio controls and increase or decrease the volume.
