Step 1: Launch the Messages app on your Mac.
Step 2: Click Messages in the Menu bar.
Step 3: Click Preferences.
Step 4: You need to click and drag the slider beside Text size to adjust the text size.
In case your Mac is running on older OS, you will have to drag the slider towards left to increase the text size of Messages and drag it towards right to decrease it.
Step 5: You are now asked to click the drop-down menu beside Text size, and choose Other.
Step 6: You can now either choose your preferred text size or change it by dragging the slider up and down.
