Plus, with the help of iOS 10’s new Markup editor, you can even edit your photos to your best liking before sharing them. Steps to take and mark up an instant photo in Messages in iOS 10

Step 1: Open the Messages app on your iPhone/iPad.

Step 2: Select the conversation where you want to send a marked up photo.

Step 3: Tap on the camera icon in the bottom-left corner.

Step 4: Tap on the camera icon on the camera panel at the bottom of your screen to take a photo. The photo will automatically show up in the iMessage conversation box.

Step 5: Tap on the photo in the iMessage conversation box.

Step 7: Tap on Markup, and start doodling, magnifying, and placing text on the photo.

Step 8: Once you are finished marking up it, tap on Save > Done.

Step 9: Lastly, tap on the Send button.

Steps to take and mark up a photo in Messages in iOS 10

Step 1: Open the Messages app on your iPhone/iPad.

Step 2: Select the conversation where you want to send a marked up photo.

Step 3: Tap on the camera icon in the bottom-left corner.

Step 4: Now, swipe to the right and tap Camera.

Step 5: Once you are in Camera, tap on the capture button to take a photo.

Step 6: Tap on Markup, and start doodling, magnifying, and placing text on the photo.

Step 7: Once you are finished marking up it, tap on Save > Done.

Step 8: Lastly, tap on the Send button.

Steps to mark up an existing photo in Messages in iOS 10

Step 1: Open the Messages app on your iPhone/iPad.

Step 2: Select the conversation where you want to send a marked up photo.

Step 3: Tap on the camera icon in the bottom-left corner.

Step 4: Swipe to the left to browse your recent photos.

             Swipe to the right, and tap on the Photo Library button to view your entire photo library and even albums.

Step 5: Tap on the photo or video you want to send to move it to the iMessage conversation box.

Step 6: Tap on the photo in the iMessage conversation box.

Step 7: Tap on Markup, and start doodling, magnifying, and placing text on the photo.

Step 8: Once you are finished marking up it, tap on Save > Done.

Step 9: Lastly, tap on the Send button.
